I wanted to take a moment and send out a “GREAT BIG-THANK YOU” to those of you who so “Unselfishly” provide such nuggets of gold of “History” through these forums. I have recently come into information concerning my own family ties to slavery on both sides. And when I saw this post I would not have thought that staring me in my face was the name (possibly) of my 4ggrand-father from VA list on the information concerning slave owners. As I write this with tears that have filled my eyes, knowing that yet another piece to my families history has been discovered. So again I say “Thank You from the bottom of my “Very Filled) heart.
