A Friend of Friends, Kathy at AlGenWeb maintains a website — Morgan County Slaves & Their Owners — where researchers whose Ancestors owned slaves in Morgan County, Alabama can post related transcribed slave docs and data.
This is an ongoing AFoF effort to assist African-American researchers from the Morgan County area and currently contains the names of slaves owned and/or sold by the following owners: DRAPER, MORRIS, FRANCIS, LEWIS, MCCLUNG, MCCLELLAND, ORR, PRUIT, and WILLIAMS.
